What ?

We will do a replication experiment. To set the context for the assignment I ask you to read two papers.

  • Paper 1 - Replicating MSR: A study of the potential replicability of papers published in the Mining Software Repositories Proceedings
  • Paper 2 - On the reproducibility of empirical software engineering studies based on data retrieved from development repositories.
