Joachim received his Master degree in Electronics - ICT from the Karel de Grote Hogeschool in 2006. Afterwards he started his career as a junior researcher at the Karel de Grote Hogeschool on a TETRA project about FlexRay. In 2008 he wrote a proposal for a PhD-study on AUTOSAR and obtained a grant from the University of Antwerp. In 2008 he also obtained his bachelor degree in computer science from the Free University of Brussels. Currently he's a PhD-researcher in the TERA-lab of the Karel de Grote Hogeschool and the Ansymo labs of the University of Antwerp.
